Santa Monica’s public transit agency, the Big Blue Bus, sought to maximize use of indoor and outdoor space on its campus to improve and update the employee amenities for the purposes of productivity and retention. Currently in progress, the space plan will recommend a small addition the Administrative Building, active programing of that building’s outdoor deck to include outdoor dining and mediative spaces, an expanded indoor exercise room, an outdoor sports court, outdoor cooking facilities and outdoor gardens.
